Went Fishing
I took a nice vacation, but should be getting back in the swing of the blogoshpere.
Here is an update.
-Graduation is imminent, my father sent me an email, he is counting the weeks until the financial umbilical cord is severed
-Job searching is going wonderfully
-A friend died in a car wreck last Thursday, I felt a deep sense of loss
-Trying to get back on the bike after Brazil. So far, my legs aren`t having it.
-I saw Sonata Arctica in concert in Chicago on Friday, spent the night with Tyler Wellington (a top shelf individual)
And, since I have been getting a lot of questions about it lately: Yes, Columbia Couriers is still running, you can see an article about us\me in the VOX that is out now.
So here`s a thought that hit me during my ride yesterday. If you do not believe in any sort of a spiritual realm... than death is just a failure of a system... therefore it follows the removal of a spiritual component of life suggests the ability for life to be sustained eternally with scientific means. Clearly it`s not within our grasp right now... but I`m going to ask some atheists what they think about this (I`m concurrently curious to find out how many atheists believe in a spiritual something... just not a God).
That is all for today... I am going to pace my re-entry to blogging.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I have a friend at MU that worked with her. I assume it was the same person. Take care - it's rough.
Also sorry to hear about your friend. That sucks. I don't believe you about not getting on the bike though...I remember a 2 1/2 hour ride when Drew and I visited...
